Regarding Certification

Firms listed in this directory have been certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Minnesota Unified Certification Program (MnUCP). As mandated by the United States Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, (DBE) all U.S. DOT recipients of federal financial assistance must maintain a directory of DBE’s.

Please note, certification does not in any way pre-qualify the firm to provide the products and/or services the firm claims it can provide. “Certification” means that the MnUCP has determined, on the basis of information provided and the representations therein, that a business is a bona fide DBE. Certification of a company as a DBE shall not relieve the prime contractor of its responsibility to determine that its subcontractors are in fact qualified to perform the work for which they have been hired.

Regarding Vendor Information Listing

The electronic version of the directory is updated frequently; however changes must be approved by the MnUCP Certification Committee at bimonthly meetings. The MnUCP disclaims any and all responsibility concerning error, omissions or misrepresentation which may be contained in this publication. It is the responsibility of all DBE’s to inform the MnUCP of any errors listed or changes in their contact information.
